Tuesday night storytelling in Cambridge has transitioned into
The Story Space
Featuring a weekly evening of open telling with a featured teller. The Story Space is run by the loving community that Brother Blue inspired. The apple tree story has been printed on the blue storytelling calendars for nearly 2 decades. Now we get to live that story. Blue planted the apple trees so we can enjoy the fruit. We thank him for this. For a current schedule of features, go to http://www.storyspace.org .
The old man and the apple trees
A very old man was planting apple trees. Someone said to him: "What for are you planting apple trees? It will be a long time before they bear fruit, and you will not live to eat a single apple." The old man replied, "I'll not eat them, but others will, and they will thank me."
